- The kid says "onii-sama" which is the honorific for "big brother." "-Sama" is a high honorific and can be used to say "Lord," "Lady," "Princess," "King," etc. Even as she is not his sibling, elder strangers are acknowledged in Asian cultures to this day as "aunt/uncle," "grandmother/father," or "elder sister/brother."
- "kami come to earth" means "god come to earth", but in this case, as they believed in many gods, it's not the Christian God they're talkin' about.
